Shantilly has been offering her love and knowledge of Music through education to people of all ages for more than twenty years, and thrills at the discovery and growth of her students as they realize their own special musical potential!
Meet Shantilly
Shantilly believes every person is an Artist. She is a classically trained Pianist and natural singer/songwriter/lyricist.
Growing up in Northern California she received her Degree in Music & Arts and has taken many vocal training classes, piano accompaniment classes, and songwriting classes.
Shantilly began writing songs as a young girl long before she learned how to read or write music. She has written hundreds of songs, from piano solos to vocal solos, duets, and Choir pieces. These pieces include genres such as Jazz for saxophone to flowery descants for flute, smooth chord progressions for Ukelele, and Shakespeare Sonnets adapted for original Piano ballads. Throughout her life, she has performed as a pianist and singer and recorded many of her own songs and sung for other recording artist's albums.
Shantilly was the Music Teacher at Spring Lake Elementary School for three years. She taught in depth curriculum detailing the lives of the great composers, taught the children to sing, play instruments, and created fun games to help the children learn music theory. She has directed countless choirs and musical ensembles with a variety of instruments and colorful expression through a wide array of mediums. She has also accompanied many soloists, choirs, and performers in many different settings and collaborated with many other artists throughout her musical career.
As a private teacher for over twenty years, Shantilly thrills at the growth of her students, whether big or small, as they begin to tap into their musical abilities.

Shantilly Lace Studios offers a clean, comfortable, and quiet atmosphere in which to learn and study music. Students have access to a classy Baby Grand, a large music book collection, and a sophisticated microphone. Piano and Vocal training classes are available now.

Shantilly offers 30 minute lessons packed with instruction, hands-on application, fingering techniques, vocal techniques, sight-reading drills, and interactive games to encourage theoretical and practical musical understanding.
Annual Fall Recital
Helping You Build Confidence in Music Performance
At Shantilly Lace Studios, there is one Fall Recital held in October each year to help students grow in their ability to perform confidently. Students may dress up in costume to bring fun and musical expression to their chosen Recital piece

Payment may be paid per lesson or a monthly fee of $80 which will potentially include one free lesson for months that are longer.

Fall, Christmas, and Spring Breaks will be observed complying with the current school year schedule.
